How You Can Help
One way of helping us is to donate to our cause, your money will go towards helping us to do more for the homeless in the UK, the care packs that we give to the homeless that we meet on our walks, towards paying for hostels, purchasing Bibles and much more.
Join Our Walks
If you have the time and the means then by all means come on down to meet us and partake in one of our walks. We stop and speak to different people and find out more about them and then support them in anyway we can along with praying for them.
Become a Volunteer
If you want to do even more then your assistance will be very much appreciated, we always appreciate new faces and talent to join the battle against homelessness. Become a volunteer and help Standard to grow and spread accross the country so that the Gospel may reach all people without homes.
A Word From Some Of Our Volunteers
I joined the first homeless outreach with Standard today and I’ve truly been blessed and honoured. I was able to see how the love of God is demonstrated not just to “normal/well off people” but to those who are currently in difficult circumstances and it was beautiful. I feel privileged and cannot wait to keep sharing the love of God with others in the next outreaches.Sarah, A Standard Charity Volunteer
From my previous outreach experiences, I understand that it is more important for a person without a house to have fellowship; rather than to have money. They have been derived from physical contact and it feels good just to let them talk and get what is on their chest off. I have learnt that to pray for someone is more important than it seems, intercession really works. A personal experience that I had is that I met a man how had just received accommodation but he still had doubt in his faith. After a long chat, I manage to convince him God is still working in his life.Remell, A Standard Charity Volunteer
The outreach’s I’ve been to have all impacted me in multiple different ways. It allowed me to understand that most people in need of help do not always seek money but a soul to speak to. Speaking, praying and getting to know the individuals have come in contact with has allowed me to not only strengthen my faith but help push others.Stephanie, A Standard Charity Volunteer
Seeing you do these standards walks really warms my heart. Every time I attend them I always go back home feeling blessed to have met some of the people I have been able to talk to & interact with.Aziz, A Standard Charity Volunteer
